Today I’m introducing you to my first anonymous guest. We’re calling her Catherine Brown, which is, of course, not her real name. She agreed to come on the show as long as I could keep her identity private. She tells the story of a vision God gave her about taking a group of Muslim women rock climbing, and that vision is part of what has led her and her husband to move across the world to a primarily Muslim country in North Africa where they will serve with a rock climbing ministry.
In this interview, Catherine talks about the early stages of saying yes to a dream, even when she had lots of unanswered questions and fears about the outcome. She shares about the mental game of rock climbing and how it feels when we face our fears. In preparing to leave, God has asked them to trust Him as their provider; and she explains how He’s made this aspect of His character very real to them.
There’s more to the vision God gave her, the journey to saying yes to go, and all they’ve learned along the way. I’m so excited for you to hear this conversation!
